Close call reporting

No incident is too small to be neglected. The sooner causes for close calls are identified and addressed, the higher the chance to avoid more severe accidents. SHERM covers a whole set of safety-related incident reporting tools – bagatelle injuries, first aid cases, restricted work cases, medical treatment cases, up to LTIs (lost time incidents). How close calls are processed will depend on configuration according to your business requirements: We offer a simple ‘quick alert’ form as well as a sophisticated multi-step analysis including root cause identification.

Multi-stage processing

SHERM also supports a multi-stage processing of close call reports, where the people immediately involved submit a brief report containing only the bare facts from the nearest terminal, which is automatically forwarded to the safety officer in charge, who may then take action.
